About
Yseult Héjja-Brichard received her PhD in Neuroscience, Cognition, and Behaviour from Université Paul-Sabatier Toulouse, France in 2020. She subsequently completed her first postdoctoral training at the Centre for functional and evolutionary ecology (CNRS) in Montpellier, France. She is now working as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Yseult Héjja-Brichard’s research interests lie at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience and behavioural ecology. Her work has primarily focused on understanding how the brain efficiently processes information to enable decisions and behaviours. She informs those processes using an evolutionary and ecological perspective.

Example Visual cognition projects

How can companies collaborate more effectively with researchers, experts, and thought leaders to make progress on Visual cognition?

Optimizing Website Design

A Visual cognition expert can analyze your website's visual design and layout to optimize user experience. By understanding how users perceive and process visual information, they can make recommendations to improve the visual hierarchy, readability, and overall aesthetics of your website.

Eye-Tracking Studies

Visual cognition experts can conduct eye-tracking studies to understand user attention and engagement. By tracking eye movements, they can identify areas of interest and determine how users interact with visual stimuli. This information can be used to optimize advertisements, product packaging, and user interfaces.

Developing Augmented Reality Applications

Collaborating with a Visual cognition expert can help in developing innovative visual technologies, such as augmented reality applications. These experts can provide insights on how to design virtual objects and environments that align with human visual perception, resulting in more immersive and realistic experiences.

Visual Data Analysis

Visual cognition experts can contribute to market research by analyzing visual data. They can identify trends and patterns in visual content, such as images and videos, to gain insights into consumer preferences and behavior. This information can be used to inform marketing strategies and product development.
