I have a background in computational physics (PhD, Penn State, 2016) and I have many years of experience using LAMMPS to perform molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, using enhanced sampling techniques such as forward-flux sampling and bond-boost method. Additionally, I have engaged in communication and collaboration through the LAMMPS mailing list with students and researchers, and I have built a wide repository of experience in research topics over the years and authored a user guide to modify the LAMMPS source code. Otherwise, I am employed as an associate professor of physics at Valdosta State University, where I conduct research and academic work using Python and Mathematica.

Dr. Matteo Chierchia is an Organic Chemist with over 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He completed his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Boston College in 2019 under the direction of Prof. James Morken. During his academic career, he conducted research on the development of new catalytic and enantioselective methodologies for organic synthesis, the results of which were published in established peer reviewed journals. Dr. Chierchia has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 2020, when he joined PTC Therapeutics as a Medicinal chemist. He has worked on the development of new drug candidates for various therapeutic areas.
