Dr. Gamwell is a business and design anthropologist who specializes in ethnographic research (digital and in field) and consulting with businesses and organizations. He has worked as a field researcher in Latin America and Peru and has consulted for businesses across a variety of industries, including food, hospitality, retail, consumer goods and technology. Dr. Gamwell worked in global technology research, studying meaning and cultural change at scale by combining digital tools, Big Data and Anthropology, and served some of the world's largest Fortune 1000 companies to bring a cultural and human centric perspective to innovation, insights, and future forecasting.Dr. Gamwell is the founder of Anthrocurious a collaborative social impact storytelling and design research studio that draws on design thinking, the social sciences, and mindfulness practices to help businesses, change makers and organizations discover, craft and communicate their stories, culture, and relations better.

Orin Davis earned the first doctorate in positive psychology, and is a self-actualization engineer who enables people to do and be their best. He consults for companies from startups to multinationals on hiring strategies, culture, innovation, diversity/equity/inclusion, and employee well-being, and coaches people at all levels on building self-knowledge and developing personal and professional growth trajectories. As the principal investigator of the Quality of Life Laboratory, he conducts research on flow, creativity, hypnosis, and mentoring. Dr. Davis teaches business at Columbia University and Fordham University, and gives workshops and lectures globally about human capital, creativity and innovation, and positive psychology. He is a startup advisor who helps early-stage companies enhance their value propositions, pitches, culture, and human capital, and writes and speaks avidly about human capital, creativity and innovation, and positive psychology.

In the academic area I have done mathematical modeling (cultural diffusion and human visual systems) as an undergraduate. As a graduate student I worked as a consultant to the US government, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, WGBH radio and television in Boston, a large project at the Harvard School of Education on children and television, and with a number of community organizations associated with the Harvard Medical School on projects related to community health. On these above projects I was the lead statistical analyst and also assisted in designing the research protocols. I am familiar with and competent using the latest data management, statistical analysis, and visualization software in the python programming language, as well as the Jupyter Notebook offshoot that is usable by non-programmers and suitable for publication quality output. After finishing my Ph.D. I was a principal investigator, along with my colleague, at the Harvard Medical school. I was the statistical analyst and hardware/software specialist for designing our experimental and testing protocols for our research into meditation. I still am actively involved in research into meditation and related systems and the effects on practitioners and their communities. I also am involved in the applications of esoteric systems to behavioral health. In the corporate world I have worked with startups, established companies, non- profits, dot-coms, and private scientific groups.
