Nik Nikooyan, Ph.D. is a highly accomplished data scientist with a passion for using data to improve healthcare and quality of life. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Masters in Information & Data Science from University of California, Berkeley. Throughout his career, Nik has focused on the intersection of AI & data science and healthcare. He has conducted extensive research on developing novel algorithms to extract meaningful information from complex data. He has also worked on projects related to medical device design and development, utilizing his expertise in data analysis and machine learning to improve medical technology. In addition to his technical skills, Nik is a skilled communicator and leader. He has published multiple papers in prestigious journals and has presented his work at international conferences. He has also served as lecturer at the California State University where he mentored and supervised students, sharing his knowledge and helping to cultivate the next generation of computer & data scientists. Nik is currently working as a data scientist at a leading consulting company, where he applies his skills to help clients with AI driven solutions to improve the quality of life of others.

Hariton is the Group Head of Information Technology at Medochemie Ltd, in charge of the technology department and digital transformation strategy. Prior to his current role, he served at PwC Cyprus providing digital innovation and optimization insights. In the past, as the Operations and Innovation Director at Ygia Polyclinic Private Hospital, led the organization’s digital transformation. Furthermore, in 2015 he co-founded PivotLogic, helping SMEs to take advantage from data analytics and improve their operations. During his appointment at IBM Amsterdam, Hariton has been awarded from IEEE for his work on Online Social Networks evolution published in the International Conference on Big Data (Washington D.C.,USA). He is engaged in academia by teaching courses related to Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation & Optimization at a University level. <br> Dr. Efstathiades interests lie in the area of Enterprise Digital Transformation, Big Data Analytics, Online Social Networks and Semantic Web analysis, Internet of Things and Data Management. His work has been published in IEEE/ACM top international journals and conferences in the areas of OSN and Big Data analytics. His academic qualifications include a PhD in Big Data Analytics, MSc in Software Technology and BSc in Computer Science.
