Dr. Everson A Nunes is a highly accomplished researcher and educator in the field of physiological sciences. He received his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a focus on Physiological Sciences from Universidade Federal do Paraná in 2009, after completing a BSc in Human Nutrition and an MSc in Physiological Sciences. He also holds a specialization in Exercise Physiology and a BSc in Biological Sciences from Universidade Federal do Paraná. Dr. Nunes has a strong background in research, having completed two post-doctoral fellowships at McMaster University and Universidade Federal do Paraná. He has also held positions as an associate professor and assistant professor at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, and his research focuses on the effects of exercise and nutrition on physiological processes in the human body. In addition to his research, Dr. Nunes is also a dedicated educator. He has taught at various universities in Brazil, including Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Universidade Gama Filho, Faculdades Integradas Espírita, Pontificia Universidade Católica do Paraná, and Faculdade do Litoral Sul. He is known for his dynamic teaching style and his ability to engage students in complex physiological concepts. I work on the sustainable management of natural resources through the analysis and modelling of data and the application of innovative solutions. Over the years I have dedicated myself from academic research to the practical application of advanced methodologies. During my master's and Ph.D, I acquired expertise in statistical analysis and modelling, exploring the quantification of uncertainties in volume, biomass and carbon estimates, applied to forest planning. As a visiting researcher in the UK, I expanded my knowledge of forest quantification, broadening my understanding of the global challenges surrounding forest sustainability. In addition, my first steps as a Forest Engineer at Embrapa Florestas allowed me to experience inventory processes in practice, complementing my academic training. Since then, I've been applying this diverse experience as a Guest Researcher at the Fachhochschule Rottenburg - Hochschule für Forstwirtschaft, where I'm immersed in forest management and natural resource quantification projects, utilising skills in Python, data analysis and project management. My approach is results-orientated, always driven to find sustainable solutions to complex challenges. I'm constantly looking for opportunities that allow me to apply my knowledge in favour of responsible development, contributing to a more sustainable future for forests.

Juliane Fagotti is a highly educated and experienced physiologist with a strong background in biological science. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná in 2009, followed by a Master's degree in Physiology from Universidade Federal do Paraná in 2016. She then went on to complete her PhD in Physiology at the same university in 2019, with a period as a Visiting PhD student at Imperial College London. After completing her PhD, Juliane gained valuable research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College London. Juliane has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research at international conferences. In addition to her research experience, Juliane has also been actively involved in teaching and mentoring students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She is dedicated to promoting scientific literacy and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and expertise with others.

Seasoned Sustainability Consultant with 25+ years of expertise in the forestry, energy, and environmental sectors across Brazil and the U.S. Proven track record in bioeconomy projects, community fund structuring, and driving public-private partnerships in the Amazon.   A senior member of the sustainability team at Natura & Co, leading projects for prestigious organizations, including the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), UNDP, Friends of the Earth, Bain & Co, Chemonics International, and EDP Brasil.   Worked in the management of large bioeconomy projects, always in close collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders, especially in the Brazilian Amazon. His experience includes the formulation of blended finance models, the structuring of community Access and Benefit Sharing funds, with a focus on transparency and the participation of local communities.   Co-founded the Espaço Namata, an impact-driven Brazilian company that fosters people's connection with nature through a certified eco-venue.
