About
Yseult Héjja-Brichard received her PhD
in Neuroscience, Cognition, and
Behaviour from Université
Paul-Sabatier Toulouse, France in
2020. She subsequently completed her
first postdoctoral training at the
Centre for functional and evolutionary
ecology (CNRS) in Montpellier, France.
She is now working as a postdoctoral
research associate at the University
of Maryland, Baltimore County. Yseult
Héjja-Brichard’s research interests
lie at the intersection of cognitive
neuroscience and behavioural ecology.
Her work has primarily focused on
understanding how the brain
efficiently processes information to
enable decisions and behaviours. She
informs those processes using an
evolutionary and ecological
perspective.
