Ridwan Taiwo is a highly accomplished
civil engineer with a strong academic
background and a passion for the built
environment. He is currently pursuing
a Ph.D. in Infrastructure Engineering
at The Hong Kong Polytechnic
University, where he also serves as a
teaching assistant. Prior to his
doctoral studies, Ridwan earned an
MEng in Civil Infrastructure
Management and Maintenance from the
University of Cape Town and a BEng in
Civil Engineering from the Federal
University of Technology Akure.
Alongside his academic pursuits,
Ridwan has gained valuable practical
experience through internships and
part-time positions. He worked as an
assistant site engineer at Webster
Global Ventures Limited and as a
construction supervisor at Slava
Yeditepe Projects Limited.
Additionally, he volunteered as a
research associate at Afrikan Research
Initiative in South Africa, further
expanding his research skills and
knowledge. Ridwan's expertise and
dedication to his field are evident in
his prolific scientific writing. He
has authored more than 20 journal
articles published in top-tier
journals, showcasing his ability to
conduct rigorous research and
contribute to the advancement of
engineering knowledge. With his
extensive educational background,
diverse practical experience, and
strong research skills, Ridwan is
well-positioned to make significant
contributions to the field of
engineering and positively impact the
construction and infrastructure
