She earned her doctorate in Linguistics from University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2021, her master's degree in English from Texas Tech University in 2012, and her bachelor's degree in Geography from Texas Tech University in 2009. Catherine has held several positions in education and sustainability, including Senior Research Associate at Kamehameha Schools, Strategy Consultant at Kamehameha Schools, and Senior Sustainability Analyst at Chaminade University of Honolulu.
