Clever Nkhokwe Kanga is a highly
educated and experienced professional
in the field of agriculture,
nutrition, and food sciences. He
obtained his Masters degree in
Agriculture with a specialization in
Applied Life and Food Sciences from
Niigata University in 2022. Prior to
that, he completed his Bachelors
degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences
at Bunda College of Agriculture -
University of Malawi in 2012 and
received a Diploma in Food, Nutrition,
and Livelihoods Security from Lilongwe
University of Agriculture and Natural
Resources in 2008. With his strong
academic background, Clever has gained
a wealth of practical experience in
various roles. He has served as a JICA
Support Desk officer at Niigata
University, where he provided
assistance to Japanese International
Cooperation Agency (JICA) scholars. He
also worked as the Deputy Board
Chairperson at ACADES, a civil society
organization focused on promoting
sustainable agriculture and rural
development. Clever has also held
leadership positions in several
organizations, including being the
Coordinator for the Society of
Malawian Students in Japan and the
Team Leader at I.REST CONSULTS. He has
also worked as the Principal Manager
at the Foundation for Irrigation and
Sustainable Development (FISD), where
he oversaw various projects aimed at
improving irrigation practices and
promoting sustainable development in
Malawi. In addition to his
professional roles, Clever has also
been involved in research work as a
Research Assistant at Tufts
University. He is passionate about
using his knowledge and skills to
contribute to Agriculture development
and research. Through his education
and experience, Clever has become a
highly competent and knowledgeable
individual in the fields of
agriculture, nutrition, and food
sciences.
