Tyler G. Smith is a highly educated and experienced geoscientist with a passion for Earth system science. He received his Bachelor of Science in Geology and Master of Science in Environmental Geosystems from Middle Tennessee State University in 2016 and 2018, respectively. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Earth System Science at Auburn University and is expected to graduate in August of 2024. During his time at Auburn University, Tyler has gained valuable experience as a researcher and graduate teaching assistant. He has also worked as a geologist at AECOM, where he gained hands-on experience in the field. Additionally, he has held positions as a student intern and teaching assistant at Middle Tennessee State University, and as a tutor and environmental field technician at other companies. With his extensive education and experience, Tyler has developed a strong understanding of Earth system science and a wide range of skills in geosciences. He is dedicated to furthering his knowledge and expertise in this field and is committed to making a positive impact on the environment through his work.
