Beth is an Associate Professor of Advertising at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication, author and TEDx speaker. As a 25-year veteran of the advertising media industry she leads the media planning and data & analytics curricula. She is also the author of Media Planning Essentials, the first online, digital-first media planning courseware. Beth’s research interests include applying machine learning techniques to develop predictive models of television audience retention. These models can be used to optimize ad curation and provide television networks with tools to maximize their revenue models. She is also working on employing psychophysiological research techniques to understand how people perceive branded content implicitly. This research can help inform both the creation and placement of branded content.

As a program evaluator, technical assistance consultant, and researcher, I've spent the last 12 years partnering with K-12 districts, higher education institutions, nonprofits, and state agencies to build stakeholders’ capacity to implement equitable and sustainable change initiatives.

Dr. Juan Garcia Massini is a highly educated and experienced scientist in the field of paleobotany. He received his Bachelor's degree in biology with a specialization in paleobotany in 2001 from an the university of buenos aires. He then went on to pursue a Master's degree in biology from the university of Kansas in 2004. In 2008, Dr. Massini completed his PhD in geology from Southern Methodist University. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Massini has gained valuable research and teaching experience. He has worked as a research assistant and teaching assistant at prestigious universities such as the University of Buenos Aires, University of Kansas, and Southern Methodist University. He has also served as an Investigador cientifico (researcher) at CONICET, the national science council of Argentina. Dr. Massini's expertise in paleobotany is highly sought after and he is considered a leading expert in the field. His research has been published in numerous scientific journals and he has presented his findings at international conferences. With his vast knowledge and experience, Dr. Massini is dedicated to advancing the field of paleobotany and sharing his passion for the subject with others.
