Dr Andrew McKune is an experienced sport and exercise scientist, with a Doctorate in Sport and Exercise Science, a Master of Medical Science in Physiology, a BA (Hons) in Human Movement Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Movement Studies and Psychology. He has over 20 years of experience in academia, with positions as a Full Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Canberra, and Associate Professor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and Tshwane University of Technology. His areas of expertise include cardiovascular physiology, exercise immunology, strength and conditioning, applied physiology, and sport and exercise science.
