Dr. Wahid Ali is a highly educated and experienced civil engineer with a specialization in mining engineering. He obtained his BSc in Mining Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar in 2010, followed by an MSc in Mining Engineering from the same university in 2014. He then pursued his doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, which he completed in 2022. Dr. Ali has a diverse range of experience in both academia and industry. He has worked as an Assistant Professor at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, where he taught courses related to mining engineering and conducted research in the field. He has also worked as a Tunnel Engineer at Geoconsult-Typsa JV, where he was involved in various tunnel projects and gained hands-on experience in the field. Dr. Ali's research interests include rock mechanics, tunneling, and slope stability. He has published several papers in reputable journals and presented his research at international conferences. He is also a member of various professional organizations, such as the International Society for Rock Mechanics and the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration. With his strong academic background and practical experience, Dr. Ali is a valuable asset to the field of civil engineering.
