She completed her Masters of Science in Microbiology and Cell science from the University of Florida Health in 2023. During her time at university, Afsana excelled in her studies and was actively involved in various research projects, gaining hands-on experience in the field of microbiology and cell science. Her research interests focus on the interactions between microorganisms and human cells, particularly in the context of infectious diseases. Afsana has also extensively studied the role of microbiota in human health and disease, and has a deep understanding of the complex relationships between microbial communities and their hosts. In addition to her academic achievements, Afsana has also gained practical experience through volunteer work. She has worked as laboratory assistant at University of Alabama at Birmingham laboratory where she gained valuable skills in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings.
