As a technologist and human rights advocate specializing in responsible tech, I bring over ten years of international expertise from engagements in the US, UK, and EU. Currently, I am advancing my knowledge as a PhD candidate focused on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights. Throughout my career in the technology sector, I have held roles such as AI Innovation Director, Director of Global Partnerships, and Technology Consultant. In these capacities, I've played a crucial role in driving forward the boundaries of AI innovation, designing and managing technology projects crafting key international alliances, and providing expert consultancy that has shaped the direction of technological development and strategic collaboration. In my other role as a Human Rights Advocate within the technology sector, I have engaged in collaborations with international organizations, such as the United Nations, and various other agencies. I have been focused on addressing and overcoming challenges related to technology.

Performed activities designing hardware and transferring into volume production. Leading the site design quality assurance activities at Leonardo. Was the site lead for the CMMI qualification in 2022. Managed the day to day activities of staff in my group, performed yearly reviews. Reviewed designs from proposals to production to ensure quality and manufacturability.

I, Dr. Kenneth Nii Okaigya Afroso Annan, am the CEO and Consulting Chemist at Fire-Beetle Inc. I am a proficient Research and Development Chemist, with a specialization and several years of experience in investigating and reporting on innovative ideas concerning conductive organic compounds, polymers, and polyelectrolytes for enhanced performance in electronics and batteries. I have also taught chemistry at several institutions of higher learning in the US and abroad. Employing his knowledge, experience of scientific inquisition, and command of the English language in searching for and reporting interesting scientific ideas is a source of great strength. Nii has written and published several papers in scientific journals, and elsewhere in the general press. Kenneth enjoys reading and listening to music. He loves to travel and meet people from differing backgrounds to discover what makes them different. He has a great fascination for words, with a penchant for using words to appropriately communicate impactful ideas. He has extensive experience teaching chemistry at various institutions across the country and enjoys the propensity to assist students in their learning tremendously. Dr. Agnew is an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia and a principal at Agnew & Associates Medical Writing. His research and work focuses on the development and evaluation of health policy initiatives and medical writing support for academic, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.

My experience so far has covered a wide spectrum of the Applied Geology scheme in both academia and oil industry, with major interests in disciplines of sedimentology and stratigraphy, petroleum geology, numerical modeling and etc. Key skills include: · Core logging, thin section observation and description, facies analysis, and their application in sedimentology and depositional environment studies of both carbonate and siliciclastic rocks · Studying the structural, sedimentary and diagenetic features of hydrocarbon reservoirs, using integrated subsurface datasets of seismic data, core samples and experiments results, thin sections, wire logs, and etc. · Reservoir characterization in the aspects of petrophysical features such as porosity, permeability, oil saturation, oil-water relationship, and distribution of barriers/baffles, using both geological data and production surveillance data · Geological modeling of reservoirs, including data preparation and data quality check, structural modeling, facies modeling, petrophysical modeling, and reserve calculation · Location and trajectory design of new wells, preparation of well completion programme in particular the proposal of perforation intervals · Use of professional software including Petrel, Techlog, Landmark, Spotfire, Matlab, etc. · Mineral, element and geochemical analysis of rock samples based on stable isotope, XRF and XRD measurements · Field outcrop measuring and sampling of both siliciclastic and carbonate rocks, sediment provenance study
