About

Wendi Weimar holds a PhD in Exercise Science-Biomechanics from Auburn University (1999), an MEd in Adapted Physical Education and Biomechanics from the University of Virginia (1991), and a BS in Secondary Education and Physics/Chemistry from Castleton State College (1989). Dr. Weimar has an extensive academic career at Auburn University, progressing through the ranks from Doctoral Student to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and currently Full Professor. Her joint appointment in Auburn University's Mechanical Engineering department further highlights her interdisciplinary expertise. Prior to her tenure at Auburn, Dr. Weimar contributed as a Science Teacher at Colonie Central High School and served as an Asst. Field Hockey Coach at Union College.
