Dr. Björn Rolland is an Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University. He received his Master of Sciences in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University in 2014 and his Ph.D in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University in 2019. Dr. Rolland's research focuses on developing intelligent machine learning models that can navigate and interact with natural environments. He has published papers in leading journals such as Nature, Science, and IEEE Transactions on Robotics. Dr. Rolland has been awarded best paper awards at the IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, the Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems, and the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition. He is also the co-founder of the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (SAIL), a research lab that focuses on developing artificial intelligence systems for commercial applications.
