Candice MacMillan has a passion for research and clinical practice that promotes female athlete wellness. She is highly educated and experienced researcher and physiotherapist with a diverse background in both academia and practical experience. She holds a PhD in Physiotherapy and has completed both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the field. She also has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, showcasing her knowledge and skills in business and finance. Candice has worked as a lecturer at various universities, including the University of Pretoria and University of Canterbury. She has also conducted research as a post-doctoral fellow at several institutions, including the University of Pretoria Sport Exercise Medicine and Lifestyle Institute. In addition, Candice has experience as a physiotherapist and certification course designer at Sport Science Lab and has worked at various physiotherapy practices and with elite sports teams. With her extensive research, education and clinical experience, Candice is a skilled and knowledgeable researcher and physiotherapist with a passion for bridging the gap between research and practice especially in the fields of sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, sports performance and biomechanics.
