I am a thinker, listener , talker , reader and foodie. And so I combined everything to become a dietitian. Research reading gives me goosebumps just like books and ghazals do. Nutrition Counseling gives me content and a sense of being useful to humankind just like cooking for my son does. I am a strong believer that nutrition and dietetics needs a daily dose of the latest scientific work, the study of civilizations and history and the sense of being humble as we look into the most diverse, ever evolving field of human health. After my graduate degree in Nutrition and dietetics , I worked as dietitian with Oncology , Bariatric, Diabetic, Renal, Geriatric and critical care populations. I have worked with amazing teams of dietitians and also as a one woman team. After moving to the US, I graduated my masters degree in nutrition and dietetics from King's College in Pennsylvania and is a Registered Dietitian here!
