Lastly, I was given a tour around the shop site of a supplier supplying Sheet Metal Parts to Rolls Royce and then I was given a tour of the Rolls Royce Plant itself, located in Derby. - Learnt about sustainable improvements in manufacturing - Understood how designers and engineers collaborate to make engine components - Understood how companies present part specifications to suppliers
