In my current role, I work on various projects that examine the financial behavior and choices of individuals and households in the United States. For example, one of my recent papers investigates how informal risk-sharing arrangements among friends and family affect consumption smoothing. Another paper studies how the rising cost of housing affects household saving, borrowing, and mobility. I also teach courses on core finance topics to MBA students, and supervise doctoral students and research assistants. I use my skills in data analysis, econometrics, and economics to conduct rigorous and innovative research, and to create engaging learning experiences for my students.
