Muhamed Duhandzic is a highly educated and experienced individual with a passion for education and research. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Utah, which he obtained in 2025. Prior to that, he completed his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Physics from the University of Sarajevo in 2020. During his academic journey, Muhamed has gained extensive experience in the field of research. He has worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah, where he assisted with various research projects and publications. Additionally, he has also worked as a Contributor at Slader Freelancing, where he utilized his research skills to provide valuable insights for various projects. Apart from his research experience, Muhamed also has a strong background in teaching. He has worked as a Physics Teacher at Richmond Park College in Sarajevo Bosnia And Herzegovina, where he shared his knowledge and expertise with students. PhD research focused on electronic optoelectronic and thermoelectric properties of semiconducting systems directly contributing to the understanding of transport mechanisms. Conducted numerical simulations and analytical modeling of carrier transport and optical absorption in advanced electronic systems like solar cells TFTs and thermoelectrics. Developed new testing and simulation methods to model electronic properties including the impact of doping-induced disorder on electronic states and transport properties of doped organic semiconductors. Collaborated on a cross-disciplinary team of researchers from EE ME Physics and Chemistry to publish multiple peer-reviewed papers on the electronic thermoelectric and optical properties of organic electronic materials and devices. Managed and executed literature reviews to ensure the accuracy and novelty of research findings scientific communication and technical writing.
