About

With over five years of work experience in medicine and public health, I am a medical doctor and a public health professional with global experience. I am also a recent graduate with Master of Public Health degree from Yale School of Public Health, with a focus on epidemiology, research methodology, scientific writing, study designs, biostatistics and data handling. My mission is to improve health outcomes and reduce health disparities for underserved and vulnerable populations, both locally and globally.I am also a Horstmann Scholar. My expertise is in clinical medicine, disease epidemiology, research methodology, study designs, biostatistics and data analysis. I worked as a researcher at Yale University, School of Public health and School of Medicine, where I was able to apply my research skills to draft study protocols, analyze, interpret and visualize health data. I also served as the faculty relations director at Haven Free Clinic, where I coordinate the clinical faculty and volunteers, and ensure quality patient care and education. I have a strong background in primary care, family and community medicine, having worked as a medical doctor at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in India, where I provided comprehensive primary care, preventive services, and health education to rural and urban communities. I have a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the same institution, and I am certified by the World Education Services for international academic credential verification. I am passionate about learning clinical and public health research, acquiring new skills, collaborating with diverse teams, and contributing to meaningful projects that advance health equity and social justice. I am always looking for opportunities that align with my values and goals, and that allow me to leverage my skills and expertise to make a positive impact.
