Dr. Michaela Bürkle is a Professor of Cybersecurity at MIT, where she specializes in research on cybersecurity policy and practice. She also serves as the Associate Director for Research at the MIT Security Studies Program. Her research has been published in journals such as "Journal of Management Information Systems", "Journal of Computing Security", and "Cybersecurity and Information Systems". Dr. Bürkle received her M.S. in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland in 2014, her Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Carnegie Mellon in 2020, and she has served as a post-doctoral fellow at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.
