Dr. Dale Handlin earned his Ph.D. in Polymer Science & Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1982, following his M.S. in the same discipline (1980) and a B.S. in Polymer Chemistry from Clemson University (1978). Dr. Handlin has a distinguished career in polymer science and materials development, holding senior research and leadership positions at various companies including Kraton Corporation, Shell Chemical, PPG, TSRC Corporation, and Modern Meadow, where he served as Sr. Research Fellow and V.P. Materials. He also served as Chief Technology Officer at Nano Surface, Inc. Currently, Dr. Handlin provides expert consultation through Handlin Polymer Consulting, LLC and as a Freelance Consultant. He holds more than 80 granted US Patents primarily in the field of soft polymeric materials and their development.
