As a research-active professor, I published 8 research articles on which I was either lead or co-author in top-tier or leading academic journals in my field, including 3 solo-authored research manuscripts. My area of research focused on judgment and decision-making, mainly within the context of negotiation, conflict resolution, and dispute mediation using a variety of research methodologies including surveys and A/B testing. As an instructor, I taught introductory and advanced/specialized courses in organizational behavior, human resource management, workplace diversity, and negotiation to undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA students. I also developed and taught a new advanced HRM course concentrating specifically on hiring and selection, training and development, performance evaluation, and compensation. I also developed and conducted a practical two-day negotiation training workshop for top executives at Cox Communications of New Orleans.
