Dr. Rodney G. Lim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and his Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He served as an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior in the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University from 1990 to 1997. While at Tulane, he published 8 research articles in leading academic journals, including 3 solo-authored research manuscripts. His area of research focused on judgment and decision-making, mainly within the context of negotiation, conflict resolution, and dispute mediation using a variety of research methodologies. As an instructor, he taught introductory and advanced/specialized courses in organizational behavior, human resource management, workplace diversity, and negotiation to undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA students. He also developed and taught a new advanced HRM course within the business school concentrating specifically on hiring and selection, training and development, performance evaluation, and compensation. He also developed and conducted a practical two-day negotiation training workshop for top executives at Cox Communications of New Orleans. As a teacher, he received multiple awards and citations for teaching excellence among both undergraduate and MBA students. After leaving Tulane, Dr. Lim formulated and authored a comprehensive modular online course on negotiation for an online education provider as an independent contractor.

As a research-active professor, I published 8 research articles on which I was either lead or co-author in top-tier or leading academic journals in my field, including 3 solo-authored research manuscripts.
