About

Mehran Mazari is an accomplished civil engineer and educator. He earned his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2014. With over 15 years of experience, he has held various positions in academia including Associate Professor at California State University Los Angeles, Assistant Professor at California State University Los Angeles and Savannah State University, and Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Texas at El Paso. His expertise lies in infrastructure resilience, sustainability and carbon management, applied AI and advanced materials. He has published numerous papers in reputable journals and has presented his research at various conferences. Dr. Mazari is passionate about teaching and mentoring students, and is dedicated to ensuring their success in the field of civil engineering.
