Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles is a popular destination for gently used, high quality furniture and collectibles at incredible prices. We pick up donations fast and provide a tax deductible receipt for donations. New inventory arrives twice daily and tends to move fast. Delivery services are available. Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles has been located in Oakland, CA and Philadelphia, PA for 30 and 25 years respectively. We attribute our long-term success to the support so many donors, shoppers and volunteers have expressed for the mission of the African People's Education and Defense Fund. Our Oakland store has been voted “Best Furniture Store” by the reader’s poll of the East Bay Express for the 8 years and “Best Furniture Store” by Oakland Magazine.
