Working as an undergraduate research assistant carrying out ambient pressure chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and low pressure CVD to growth of monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMD). In particular I have been synthesizing MoS2 and WS2. After growing the TMD samples I also carry out Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy to confirm the existence and quality of the monolayer material.
