About

Gary Bernstein received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University in 1987. After working in industry for several years, he joined the faculty of the University of Notre Dame in 1995, where he is currently the Freimann Professor of Electrical Engineering. Bernstein's research interests include computer-aided design of integrated circuits, VLSI design, and nanotechnology. He has authored or co-authored over 200 papers in these areas, and he is a Fellow of the IEEE.
