A human geographer by training, my expertise lies in studying agricultural policies and schemes, specifically their implementation, reception, and response on the ground. My current research investigates the impact of 'Organic Farming Certification' in India among small and marginal farmers and their response to state-sponsored agriculture development initiatives. I am well equipped with qualitative as well as quantitative research methodologies as I have consistently employed ethnography, participant observation, archival research, Remote Sensing, and GIS for my academic and professional research projects.
