Founded and lead a product design and engineering consultancy taking consumer products from concept to manufacture. Direct a team of specialists across industrial design, mechanical engineering, DFM, tooling and supply chain for clients in home and kitchen, consumer electronics and wellness.

Led product development for enterprise clients including HexClad and Babylist. Built milestone based development and risk management processes, standardised project workflows and quality standards, and introduced internal reporting, dashboards, proposal systems and sales pipeline forecasting.
Ruroc
Senior Design Engineer / August, 2020 — January, 2022
Owned full product lifecycle from concept to manufacture for motorcycle helmets and apparel. Led an innovative new product family through NPI, developed complex G2 surface models and ergonomic sizing, focused plastic components on DFM and DFA, created thermal and acoustic comfort and life test methods, ran design of experiments and data analysis in Minitab, and set up a manual assembly line for a new range in China. Managed Siemens Teamcenter PLM and NX CAD integration.
Dyson
Senior Design Engineer / October, 2013 — August, 2020
Generated concepts, ran risk analysis and FMEA, and built 3D CAD models for new product development. Delivered two vacuum cleaners from concept to production including a self righting USP, patented an environmental control wearable design, developed new technology and bespoke test methods, and led human machine interface and user interaction work. Designed complex plastic parts for manufacture with cross functional teams for part transfer to Southeast Asia manufacturing.
