Dr. Peter Vierno has a diverse background in education, with a focus on disability employment. He received his Ph.D. in 2013, and has gained extensive experience through his various roles in education. Currently, Dr. Vierno works as a Disability Employment Consultant at MVP Transition Consulting, LLC, where he helps individuals with disabilities find meaningful employment opportunities. He also currently serves as a Transition Coordinator at the Wake County Public School System, where he assists students with disabilities in their transition from high school to post-secondary education or the workforce. Dr. Vierno also has experience as a teacher, having taught at the Wake County Public School System. His experience in the classroom has given him a deep understanding of curriculum and instruction, and how to effectively engage and teach students with diverse needs and abilities. He is passionate about creating inclusive and equitable opportunities for individuals with disabilities to succeed in the workforce. Through his education and experience, Dr. Vierno has developed a strong understanding of curriculum and instruction, and how to apply it in a way that meets the unique needs of students with disabilities. He is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities achieve their full potential and find fulfilling employment opportunities.
