Led a multifunctional collaboration project and integrated the expertise of multiple lab groups (including 3 principal investigators in biomathematics biophysics and molecular biology). Published a number of peer-reviewed scientific articles in high-impact journals including one corresponding first author paper (Tang et al. Cell Reports (2023) Impact Factor 6.9 vs. the average of less than 1). Presented scientific findings at multiple international and local conferences. Experienced in proposal and research grant writing and led members in projects that successfully secured over 1 million Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and 100000 Fonds de recherche du Qubec (FRQS) government fundings.
