Dr. Arseen Sultaninejad-Nezhad is a prominent educator and researcher in the field of baking and pastry arts. She received her Master of Arts in Baking from University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2012, followed by her Ph.D in Baking from the same institution in 2018. She continued her career by joining the faculty at University of California, Davis, as the department chair of Baking. In her current position, she leads the baking and pastry arts program, overseeing the development and training of students from across the globe. Dr. Sultaninejad-Nezhad is actively involved in research, publishing, and mentoring students in the field of baking and pastry arts. She has been invited to speak at various conferences and seminars, which has increased awareness of the discipline within academia and industry. Her dedication to the profession of baking has enabled her to successfully promote and shape the future of baking and pastry arts both nationally and internationally.
