Institute of Finance and Statistics, University of Bonn

Research Assistant / June, 2021October, 2021

During my time as a Research Assistant under Prof. Dr. Jing Zeng at the Institute of Finance & Statistics, Bonn, I contributed to a research project focused on the interbank market and monetary policy transmission. My work was positioned at the intersection of corporate finance and financial intermediation, where I engaged with complex game-theoretic models. Specifically, I analyzed issues related to bank credit supply and the refinancing of banks' loan portfolios, while incorporating mechanisms of endogenous peer monitoring. In addition to solving these models, I developed formal proofs for the research appendix and undertook meticulous proofreading of the manuscript to ensure its rigor and clarity.

Delhi School of Economics

Research Assistant / May, 2017July, 2018

From May 2017 to July 2018, I worked as a Research Assistant under Prof. Dr. Uday Bhanu Sinha at the Delhi School of Economics, New Delhi, on a project titled Optimal Strategic Licensing in Sequential Innovation. My role involved developing and investigating strategic licensing behavior within a Cournot homogeneous product market model, with a focus on two generations of vertical innovation technology. I explored various licensing regimes, including fixed fees, royalty structures, and two-part tariffs, in the context of technology transfer, considering the option for simultaneous multiple licenses. Additionally, I computed subgame perfect equilibria (SPE) to identify optimal licensing contracts and assessed whether the strategic actions of the first innovator could impede subsequent innovations.
