About

I am a Professor of Neuromuscular Physiology at Université Jean Monnet (Saint-Etienne, France) and Junior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF). Within the Interuniversitary Laboratory of Human Movement Biology (LIBM), my research focuses on neuromuscular plasticity and vibration-induced neuromodulation, aiming to better understand adaptive motor control mechanisms and to develop evidence-based rehabilitation strategies. My work bridges fundamental physiology and translational applications, particularly in the design and validation of vibration-based interventions and devices for clinical and functional recovery. I have secured over €2M in competitive funding and supervised 12 PhD students and 3 postdoctoral fellows. My research has resulted in 95+ peer-reviewed publications and multiple international collaborations. Beyond research, I am involved in the development of innovative teaching approaches in higher education, integrating research-driven methods into sport sciences curricula.
