About

I have more than 20 years of experience in laser based microprocessing with ultrashort pulses. Our focus lies on process optimization and process scale up (i.e. mechatronics) in many different fields. We made valuable contributions in these fields within different applied research projects, publications, book chapters and talks at international conferences. Additionally, I served in different conference committees, initiated with others the network swissphotonics and acted as an expert for the Swiss founding agency innosuisse (former CTI).
