At present, I combine the practice of architecture with academic activities focused mainly on sustainability. Since 2020, my experience with environmental practices led me to engage with consultancy projects, where I had the chance to help small and medium size companies developing a strong and personalized approach to sustainability. In most cases, people contacted my looking for clarification of the overflow of conflicting information on sustainability measures, regulations, and even ethical stands. My tasks as a consultant included careful interviews with managers and workers, deep research on sustainable standards of several products and services, and the creation of reports, guidelines, and workshops on sustainability issues (in my experience, the most popular subject was “How to avoid unintentional Green-washing”). Looking forward, I intend to strengthen my activities as a sustainability researcher and consultant. Sustainability practices are in constant development and companies need research-based information to keep updated in this regard.
