Established color matching program with masterbatches with a separate color group and fostered a strong partnership with Chroma Color Corporation. Established best in class RD project acceptance execution and delivery process with metrics. Tripled commercial success rate with over 50% improvement in on-time delivery of samples. Led joint programs with BASF (co-branding) GE (co-marketing -Color FXTM and Dow (cobranded Olefin Block Copolymers compounds announced during K-2007). Senior manager reported to Vice President RD. Managed two technology groups- New TPO Group and The Bituminous Polymer Membrane Group (500M Business). Part of the leadership team with multi- million-dollar TPO manufacturing start-up with a significant capital investment from ground zero. This business showed exponential growth leading to multiple plants currently a large business for GAF. Established an on-line twin-screw TPO roofing membrane compounding and downstream calendaring operation. Drove innovations resulting in 10 patent applications and 3 issued patents within the team. Saved 2.0Myr. in raw material cost savings for bituminous polymer roofing membrane by new patented technology.

Global Management Responsibility - One group in Akron Ohio which was built from the ground up and second existing group from European technology center in Belgium. Innovation in TPEs automotive weather seals resulting in a new product line for automotive (20lbs/car). This product line currently has grown into several hundred of millions in new revenue.

Technology Lead for new product development and foundation technologies for future growth. Applications included blow molded air ducts and injection molded seals for automotive under hood. Inventions of multiple technologies leading to 12 issued patents. Developed the high temperature TPVs based on Polyester and Polyamide with acrylate elastomers. Led the effort of selling the technology to Zeon Chemicals resulting in the SPI award winning Zeotherm product line.

Managed a team in the efforts of polymerizable binders for injection molding structural ceramics - Silicon nitride and Silicon carbide composites for turbo charged rotors. Obtained DARPA grant for 3M for Fiber Spinning Ceramic Superconductors using Polymer Binders.

Developed tape casting formulations and commercial scale up. Developed patentable polymerizable binders for whisker reinforced ceramics. This patent was sold to Alcoa for 2M.
