Ivan Moreno is a dedicated and passionate scientist with a focus on marine biology, genomics, microbiology, and microbial ecology. He will receive his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego in 2024, where he conducted research on the role of microbial communities in freshwater hot spring ecosystems. Ivan has published papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has presented his research at numerous conferences. He is committed to using his expertise to address pressing environmental issues and to contribute to our understanding of the complex relationships between microorganisms and their environments using genomics.
