Dr. Rachel M. Schmitz is an associate professor of Sociology at Oklahoma State University Stillwater. She received her PhD in Sociology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2016. Her research interests include gender inequality, family dynamics, and social stratification. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented her research at national and international conferences. Dr. Schmitz is also actively involved in mentoring and teaching undergraduate and graduate students in the field of Sociology. With her strong background in research and teaching, she is committed to advancing the field of Sociology and promoting social justice.
