Melinda Haughey is a PhD student in Human Computer Interaction at the University of Washington. She is also the co-founder and CEO of Proxi, a startup that is developing a new way to interact with technology using proximity sensors. Prior to her work in HCI, she was a chemical engineer, and she holds a BS from Texas A&M University.
