About

I am an educator and emerging social science researcher passionate about the role of the built environment in issues of racial equity and social justice. My current research focuses on West African/Caribbean urban geography and the decentralization of urban theory and practice. I have a multidisciplinary educational background that sits at the intersection of international culture and politics, human geography, and urban studies. I have experience in teaching, departmental leadership, social science research, and community organizing. I am a writer proficient in grant writing, report design, and translating academic research for a variety of broader audiences. The throughline of my work is a desire to contribute to initiatives that use urban design as a tool for social justice and value profound intercultural understanding. I am currently based in London and New York City.
