• Conducted in-vivo, intracellular electrophysiology combined with optogenetics in murine models • Developed and implemented a neuronal model in Matlab aimed at uncovering the mechanisms of masking the visual system – This model reveals a geometric relationship between the visual stimulus and neuronal response • Applied an interdisciplinary approach to reveal shared mechanisms of sensory adaptation across neocortex – This approach identified common adaptive response profiles in cortical neurons • Cleaned, manipulated and performed statistical analyses on electrophysiological datasets • Trained and mentored incoming lab personnel on lab methods and practices
