About

I have more than 25 years of research and consulting experience focused on issues affecting the translation of genomics to clinical practice, particularly for pharmacogenetic testing. Specifically, I have substantial experience in writing and education, with each of my research projects involving some component of professional, public or patient education, including development of educational materials about genomic research in general, and communicating genetic test results. In addition, I have been an undergraduate instructor for several classes including ethical issues in genomics research, genome technologies & applications, synthetic genomics, and pharmacogenomics.
