Dr. Saima Wigger is a renowned computer scientist with a strong educational background and a wealth of experience in the field. After obtaining her M.A. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014, she went on to complete her Ph.D from Harvard University in 2019. Her breadth of knowledge in the area has led her to be the current Department Chair for Computer Science at Harvard. Dr. Wigger’s research interests include artificial intelligence, distributed systems, and computer architecture. She is highly active in the academic field, having been presented several awards and published numerous papers in prestigious journals. In her current role at Harvard, she mentors and guides younger students and oversees the Computer Science department. She is committed to furthering the field of computer science to improve artificial intelligence and create more robust systems.
