About

Since 2014 I have built a substantial research and academic foundation at the intersection of mining geotechnical engineering and materials science focusing on next-generation and eco-friendly ceramics. My research journey began with studies on composite cement supplementary cementitious and materials (SCMs) and has since expanded to sustainable green and low-cost construction and building materials particularly geopolymers. Alongside this work I have actively mentored undergraduate and graduate students fostering the next generation of researchers. I have broadened my expertise by leading and contributing to inter-disciplinary projects exploring ceramics' high-tech applications. My core research interests include synthesized ceramics advanced for technology applications geopolymers sustainable materials and waste management life cycle assessment modeling of mining waste carbon dioxide sequestration and water purification. I am passionate about developing innovative materials and sustainable solutions that address global challenges in construction resource efficiency and environmental protection.
