About

Dr. Ellen Jarvi is an Assistant Professor of Building Science at University College London. She has a Master of Sciences in Building Science from Imperial College London (2013) and a Ph.D in Building Science from MIT (2019). She has extensive research experience in the areas of building envelopes, acoustics, and building physics. Dr. Jarvi has authored and co-authored numerous journal articles on the subject and has presented at a number of international conferences. She is also an active member of the Society of Building Science Educators, where she serves on the Board of Directors. Additionally, Dr. Jarvi is a National Science Foundation REU Site Graduate Research Mentor for the Building Science program at UCL.
