Corey McNair is a highly educated and experienced professional in the field of agriculture, specifically in the areas of hyper local food systems and regenerative urban agriculture. He received his Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Business from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2015. After graduating, Corey began working at Atlanta Harvest, a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting sustainable agriculture and providing fresh, locally grown produce to the community. He started as an Ag Education Director, where he developed and implemented educational programs for students and community members on topics such as sustainable farming practices, food security, and nutrition. Corey's passion for hands-on farming led him to also take on the role of Field Manager at Atlanta Harvest. In this position, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the farm, including planting, harvesting, and managing a team of workers. He is well-versed in the use of organic and regenerative farming techniques and is dedicated to promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in agriculture. In addition to his work at Atlanta Harvest, Corey also volunteers with local organizations that promote food justice and sustainable farming practices in urban areas. He is a strong advocate for hyper local food systems and believes in the importance of providing access to fresh, healthy food to all communities.
